US VP Says Netanyahu ‘Got Some Things Wrong’ in Dealings with Washington

(MENAFN) US Vice President JD Vance has said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has “certainly gotten some things wrong” in his interactions with the United States, though he declined to provide further details.

According to reports, Vance made the remarks in an excerpt of an interview, when asked specifically about Netanyahu’s handling of issues related to Iran, he said, “Look, he’s certainly gotten some things wrong.”

He added that he would not elaborate further, saying such matters were “better left in private.”

The comments come amid increased attention on US–Israeli relations, following reports in the Israeli newspaper suggesting tensions between Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump. The report claimed Trump criticized Netanyahu during a recent phone call over developments in Lebanon and alleged interference in Iran-related negotiations, though these claims have not been officially confirmed.
